About
Born in Alsace, France, in 2002, Diren Alca is a rising artist now based in Paris. As an emerging actor, a singer preparing his first single, and a dancer trained in urban styles, Diren has built a multifaceted career where voice, acting, and movement flow together seamlessly. This unique fusion has created a distinct artistic identity that is expressive, sensitive, and modern.
From a young age, Diren loved to imitate voices, invent characters, and shoot short fantasy films, already exploring the power of storytelling and imagination. During the pandemic, he created a series of fictional characters on TikTok that he brought to life with passion and precision. These videos gained a large following and made something clear: it was time to pursue acting in the real world while continuing his musical ambitions. Now with over 350,000 followers, Diren has committed to this path, taking his creativity beyond social media and turning it into a genuine life project. In fall 2025, he signed with FA7, where he is represented by agent Aisha Ponelle as an actor, as well as with the commercial talent agency Rebecca Artists, marking the beginning of a new chapter in his professional journey.
His musical revelation came in 2014 when he attended a Beyoncé concert. This experience became a foundational moment for him, shaping his connection to the stage and performance. He realized the stage was his natural home and that his voice would be its beating heart. Since then, every role, every note, and every movement have been fueled by this original passion, driving him to explore all dimensions of music and performance to reach the highest level, just like Beyoncé.
Acting
When he arrived in Paris, Diren immediately enrolled at Cours Simon (drama school), under the direction of Christine Hadida. He has since performed in plays like Jamais trois… sans quatre by Maurice Mercier and On passe dans huit jours by Sacha Guitry.
Diren also holds a bachelor's degree in English, which allows him to approach acting in English with a native-level American accent. He is quadrilingual, speaking four languages, which further enhances his versatility for international projects.
In 2025, he landed his first film roles:
- Meurtres à Aubazine - France 3 (dir. Olivier Panchot, Elzevir Films): he plays Baudoin, Roland’s squire.
- 20h30 le samedi – France 2 (dir. Eventhia Lachaud, Auxyma): he plays Timothée Chalamet in a docu-fiction presented by Laurent Delahousse.
- The Silver Cutlass (dir. Jarno Pit, EICAR International): he portrays the younger version of the main character (in English).
- Le Revers de la Pièce (dir. Tiphanie Gousseau, 3iS): he plays Matthieu, a radiant young man with a deep, lifelong bond with his childhood friend.
Currently in post-production, these projects mark the beginning of a screen career set to expand, with additional roles in development.
He also attended a masterclass at the Giles Foreman Centre for Acting, focusing on acting and auditioning techniques, solidifying his skills for both theater and film in French and English.
Music
After over a decade of private vocal lessons in Alsace, Diren joined the Schola Cantorum in Paris, where he studied opera with mezzo-soprano Nadine Denize. His countertenor/tenor range allows him to perform a diverse repertoire, from bel canto to contemporary pop.
He has also refined his stage presence at ATLA and participated in a vocal workshop with Youjeen (of the band Cherry Filter and the singer on "Wild Flower" with RM of BTS), combining live performance with the technical demands of K-pop.
Diren is currently preparing to release his very first single. It's the culmination of years of vocal and stage training, showcasing a hybrid musical identity influenced by a wide range of artists, including Beyoncé, Shawn Mendes, Maria Callas, Adele, Taemin, Zara Larsson, Jessie J, Faouzia, TXT, Demi Lovato, Chloë, Ariana Grande, Céline Dion, Sam Smith, RAYE, Jonghyun, Cynthia Erivo, and Amy Winehouse.
Dance
Diren has been training in L.A. style, hip-hop, and street-jazz for 5 years, most recently under the guidance of Delphine Lemaitre. He also takes part in workshops led by international K-pop choreographers such as J RICK and KINKY. Dance complements his voice and acting, bringing precision and energy to his stage presence.
