About
Diren Alca is a French artist born in 2002 in Alsace and currently based in Paris. An actor, singer, and dancer, he develops a multidisciplinary artistic path where performance, voice, and movement intersect, shaping an expressive, sensitive, and contemporary artistic identity.
Drawn to performance from an early age, he began creating characters and exploring storytelling through video and performance. During the lockdown, his comedic character work on TikTok reached a wide audience and confirmed his decision to pursue acting professionally. Followed by more than 350,000 people, he chose to expand this experience beyond social media and fully commit to his career as an actor. In 2025, he joined FA7 Agency and is represented by Aisha Ponelle.
Inspired by performers such as Camille Cottin, whose work combines freedom, precision, and authenticity, he approaches acting with an instinctive and modern sensibility, with a strong focus on sincerity and on-screen presence.
Alongside his acting career, he continues to develop his musical work, supported by more than ten years of vocal and stage training. A formative moment came in 2014 when attending Beyoncé’s concert at the Stade de France, an experience that deeply shaped his relationship to performance and stage presence. He is currently preparing his first single, pursuing an artistic direction where music, acting, and performance naturally converge, while sharing covers online to further connect with and expand his audience.
Acting
Trained at the Cours Simon in Paris under the direction of Christine Hadida, Diren developed an early focus on screen acting alongside his theatre work. He later continued his training at the Giles Foreman Centre for Acting (Studio Program, in English) with Theo Von Bomhard, studying Meisner, Adler and Strasberg techniques.
A multilingual actor (French, English, Korean and Turkish), he also works in English with a fluent American accent, allowing him to take part in international projects.
Since 2025, he has appeared in several television and film productions, including Meurtres à Aubazine (France 3), 20h30 le samedi (France 2), as well as short films such as The Silver Cutlass and Le Revers de la Pièce.
In 2026, he portrays Jean Cocteau in a feature film Fantômas, directed by Frédéric Tellier, scheduled for release in 2027.
Music
After over a decade of private vocal lessons in Alsace, Diren joined the Schola Cantorum in Paris, where he studied opera with mezzo-soprano Nadine Denize. His countertenor/tenor range allows him to perform a diverse repertoire, from bel canto to contemporary pop.
He has also refined his stage presence at ATLA and participated in a vocal workshop with Youjeen (of the band Cherry Filter and the singer on "Wild Flower" with RM of BTS), combining live performance with the technical demands of K-pop.
Diren is currently preparing to release his very first single. It's the culmination of years of vocal and stage training, showcasing a hybrid musical identity influenced by a wide range of artists, including Beyoncé, Shawn Mendes, Maria Callas, Adele, Taemin, Zara Larsson, Jessie J, Faouzia, TXT, Demi Lovato, Chloë, Ariana Grande, Céline Dion, Sam Smith, RAYE, Jonghyun, Cynthia Erivo, and Amy Winehouse.
Dance
Diren has been training in L.A. style, hip-hop, and street-jazz for 5 years, most recently under the guidance of Delphine Lemaitre. He also takes part in workshops led by international K-pop choreographers such as J RICK and KINKY. Dance complements his voice and acting, bringing precision and energy to his stage presence.
